RSC Speciality Chemicals Symposium 2012: Not Costing the Earth – Profit from Green and Sustainable Chemistry
Introduction: The two day international symposium will highlight recent advances in improving the sustainability and efficiency of processes in the scale up and production of speciality chemicals. Topics to be covered include:- Production of reactants from renewable raw materials

  • Increasing process efficiency
  • Bio-engineering processes
  • Sustainable solvents and cheaper catalysts
  • Reduction of waste and hazards

ATTENDANCE AT THE SYMPOSIUM IS FREE & DELEGATES CAN PICK AND CHOOSE WHICH LECTURES THEY ATTEND.

The Symposium will be held in conjunction with the Chemspec Europe and Chemsource Exhibitions organised by Quartz Business Media. The symposium and exhibitions will attract a broad range of visitors from across the fine and speciality chemicals industry.

Lectures are arranged to allow delegates ample time to visit the concurrent Chemspec Europe and Chemsource Exhibitions.

General Information The symposium will take place in the Royal Society of Chemistry Lecture Theatre in the Chemspec/Chemsource Exhibition Hall at the Gran Via Exhibition Center, Barcelona, SpainDelegates will be able to pick and choose which lectures they attend.
