Royal Society of Chemistry Symposium 2009: 'Catalysts for Change'

Title:

Royal Society of Chemistry Symposium 2009: 'Catalysts for Change'

Introduction:

Within the speciality chemicals industry, catalysis is widely used to replace or improve an existing process for an existing product or to create a new process for a new product. Many of these catalysts are speciality chemicals themselves with their own manufacturing challenges. Recent developments in the manufacture, use and re-use of catalysts is the theme for the 2009 Royal Society of Chemistry Symposium: "Catalysts for Change"

Themes include:-
How Catalysis is "Changing the Rules" about Possible Chemistries

How Developments in Catalysis and Catalysts are Influencing Process Configuration and Engineering Options

Catalysis and Process R&D - Speed to Profit

ATTENDANCE AT THE SYMPOSIUM IS FREE & DELEGATES CAN PICK AND CHOOSE WHICH LECTURES THEY ATTEND

The Symposium will be held in conjunction with the Chemspec Europe and Chemsource Exhibitions organised by dmg world media to be held in the Gran Via Exhibition Center, Barcelona, Spain on 17 and 18 June 2009, and which will attract a broad range of visitors from across the fine and speciality chemicals industry.

Lectures will take place between 10.15 and 15.45 on 17 June and 10.15 and 15.00 on 18 June allowing delegates ample time to visit the concurrent Chemspec Europe and Chemsource Exhibitions.
